ABC’s breakout buzz show of the 2011-2012 season “Revenge” has cast the highly anticipated role of Emily’s mother. TV Lineis reporting that Jennifer Jason Leigh will play the role of Emily Clarke’s mother.

“Revenge” tells the story of Emily Thorne (Emily Van Camp) a woman set on “Revenge” against the citizens of the town that saw her father framed for murder.

The series stars Emily VanCamp, Madeleine Stowe, Henry Czerny, Josh Bowman, Nick Wechsler, and Gabriel Mann.

“Revenge” airs Sundays on ABC.
