Earlier today (Wednesday, May 17) at the CBS Upfront presentation at Carnegie Hall, Jim Parsons and Iain Armitage introduced the trailer for the new single-camera, half-hour comedy YOUNG SHELDON as well as the show’s additional cast members (Zoe Perry, Lance Barber, Raegan Revord and Montana Jordan). In the series, Armitage stars as 9-year-old Sheldon Cooper, who has a once-in-a-generation mind capable of advanced mathematics and science, which isn’t always helpful in his East Texas town, where church and football are king. Perry and Barber play Sheldon’s parents — and Revord and Jordan portray his siblings. Parsons, an executive producer on the series, will also narrate the comedy as Adult Sheldon. Photo: Jeffrey R.
