Los Angeles Lakers legend Kobe Bryant has passed away. Bryant and his 13-year-old daughter Gianna died in a helicopter crash in Calabasas, California, on Sunday morning.  Los Angeles County Sheriff Department said in a press conference that there were nine people aboard the helicopter when it crashed, leaving no survivors.

Bryant played with the Lakers for 20 years and won five NBA championships.

The basketball great won an Oscar in 2018 for his short film “Dear Basketball.” Bryant was 41 years old.
