American Idol Season 20 aired 12 contestants of The Top 24 on Sunday, April 10 at 8 p.m. ET/PT. The remaining 12 contestants will perform on Monday, April 11th. The season started off with its traditional audition episodes that took place in Los Angeles, California, Nashville, Tennessee and Austin, Texas. After the auditions, the hopefuls arrived in Los Angeles for group rounds and a chance to advance to the live shows.                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                                         Judges Lionel Richie, Katy Perry and Luke Byran returned for their fifth season on the panel. Ryan Seacrest also returns to the show as the host for the past 20 seasons.
