“American Idol” is set to air a special Easter Sunday, April 20 on ABC. Join host Ryan Seacrest and judges Luke Bryan, Lionel Richie, and Carrie Underwood for a three-hour event titled “Songs of Faith.”
The night will feature uplifting performances by CeCe Winans alongside “Idol” alum Roman Collins, the show’s artist in residence Jelly Roll, Christian artist Brandon Lake, and The Brown Four. The judges will each take the stage for performances and the competition continues as the remaining 20 “Idol” finalists will perform faith-inspired songs, competing for America’s votes as they move closer to the “American Idol” crown. Viewers will be able to vote after the show to determine who will move on to the next phase of the competition.
The competition continues this Sunday, April 6, at 8/7c for “Hollywood Week: Showstopper,” competitors bring their A-game, delivering powerful performances that could make or break their journey to fame.
