The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame Foundation announced the 2025 inductees for music’s highest honor. The announcement was made live on Sunday’s “American Idol” show where host Ryan Seacrest announced the artists into the exclusive club.
Performers who were considered but didn’t make the cut, were The Black Crowes, Billy Idol, Maná, Phish, Mariah Carey, Oasis, and Joy Division/New Order.
The actual induction ceremony will air live on November 8 from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles on Disney+ and next day on Hulu. An edited version of the event will air on ABC at a later date.
