Living Colour Visits NPR Radio’s Tiny Desk Concert
As Black History Month comes to a close, TVMusic Music Network highlights the NPR Tiny Desk Concert featuring Living Colour. The four piece rock band with Cory Glover on vocals, Vernon Reid on guitar, Doug Wimbish, and Will Calhoun on drums, performed many of its classic hits including “Pride,” “Love Rears It’s Ugly Head,” “Time’s Up,” and their Grammy-winning smash hit “Cult of Personality.”
Earlier this year, Living Colour performed “Cult of Personality” live during CM Punk’s entrance at WrestleMania 41 for his main event match against Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins.
That’s not the only time “Cult of Personality” has been cemented in pop culture history. The song was re-recorded for Guitar Hero III: Legends of Rock, with an updated solo, as the original masters could not be used.
