T-Pain and GloRilla to be Honored at the 2025 BMI/ R&B/HIP-HOP AWARDS
BMI will celebrate the best in songwriting at the 2025 BMI R&B/Hip-Hop Awards. T-Pain will receive the BMI President’s Award and GloRilla will be presented with the BMI Impact Award in celebration of their careers.
The songwriters behind some of the year’s biggest hits such as “CARNIVAL,” “FTCU,” “Get It Sexyy,” “Never Lose Me,” “Not Like Us,” “Surround Sound,” “Wanna Be” among others, are expected to be in attendance including ATL Jacob, Baby Tate, BigXthaPlug, Dougie F, Earlonthebeat, Flo Milli, GloRilla, Soulja Boy, Ty Dolla $ign, and many more. Additional expected guests include Brent Faiyaz, Eric Bellinger, Lucky Daye, Star Bandz, T-Pain and more.
The 2025 BMI R&B/Hip-Hop Awards will salute the songwriters and publishers of the previous year’s most-performed R&B/hip-hop songs in the United States from BMI’s repertoire of more than 22.4 million musical works. BMI’s R&B/Hip-Hop Song of the Year, Songwriter of the Year, Producer of the Year, Publisher of the Year and Top Producers will also be named during the ceremony.

The private event will be held in Los Angeles and hosted by BMI President & CEO Mike O’Neill, Executive Vice President, Chief Creative & Revenue Officer Mike Steinberg and Vice President, Creative, Atlanta, Catherine Brewton.
