“Dancing with the Stars” celebrated the upcoming movie “Wicked: For Good” with a Dancing with the Stars: “Wicked Night” special themed episode. Sitting in a a special guest judge  was the movie’s director Jon M. Chu, who said that he was excited to see the performances that the contestants had planned. He classified the show as his favorite movie combined with his favorite show.

The night kicked off with a showstopping opening number choreographed by the movie’s Chris Scott who was the dance brained behind the dance routines on both last years Wicked and the much anticipated “Wicked For Good.” The movie starring Oscar nominees Cynthia Erivo and Ariana Grande reprising their roles as Elphaba and Galinda, opens on November 21.  The first movie was nominated for 10 Oscars winning two for Best Costume Design for Paul Tazewell and Best Production Design for Lee Sandeles and Nathan Crowley.
