As expected “Avatar: Fire and Ash” opens at the top of the box office for the week ending December 21, 2025. According to Comscore, the James Cameron epic drama opened $88 million domestic for a grand total of $345 million. The movie continues the Avatar saga as Jake Sully, Neytiri, and their family face new challenges on Pandora with the arrival of the fierce Ash People, a fire-aligned Na’vi clan led by the formidable Varang. Zoe Saldana, Sam Worthington, Sigourney Weaver, Stephen Lang, and Kate Winslet star.

With final domestic figures being released Monday, this list factors in the estimated ticket sales for Friday through Sunday at U.S. and Canadian theaters.
