“Madden” is written and directed by David O. Russell whose resume includes “The Fighter,” “American Hustle,” and “Silver Lining Playbook.”

Cage stars Madden, the coach of the Oakland Raiders who became the legendary commentator who helped cement Thanksgiving as a Day for NFL football. Bale plays Raiders owner Al Davis. Kathryn Hahn, Sienna Miller, and John Mulaney also star.
