Super Bowl

Super Bowl LX is set: the New England Patriots will play the Seattle Seahawks at Levi Stadium for the NFL championship on Sunday, February 8.

Seattle quarterback Sam Darnold threw for 346 yards and 3 touchdowns in the NFC championship against the Los Angeles Rams lead by quarterback Matthew Stafford and head coach Sean McVay. The Seahawks defeated the Rams with a 31 to 27 score.

Earlier in the day, the New England Patriots beat the Denver Broncos at a very snowy battle at Empower Field at Mile High stadium with a final score of 10 to 7.

Patriots quarterback Drake Maye will be the youngest QB to play in a Super Bowl since Dan Marino in 1985.

Super Bowl’s LX halftime show will feature a performance by Bad Bunny, currently the number selling artist in the world. All genres of music will entertain football fans on the 8th.

Rock and Roll Hall of Famers and Bay Area natives Green Day will perform the pre-show, followed by singer Brandi Carlile performing the National Anthem. Charlie Puth and R & B singer Coco Jones will be a part of the festivities.
