The 98th Oscar Nominees Luncheon was held on Tuesday, February 10, 2026, at the Beverly Hilton in Beverly Hills. The upcoming Oscars ceremony, hosted by Conan O’Brien, will be held on Sunday, March 15, 2026 at the Dolby Theatre in Hollywood.

This years best picture nominees include “Sinners,” the most nomination movie this year with a historic 16 nominations, “One Battle After Another,” Frankenstein,” “Marty Supreme,” “Hamnet,” “Bugonia,” “F1,” “The Secret Agent,” and “Train Dreams.”

Notable Nominees

Other notable nominees this year include Diane Warren who has a record 17 nominations in the original song category. Her nominated song “Dear Me” is featured in the documentary about her life, “Diane Warren: Relentless.”

Steven Spielberg is also nominated, but as a producer for the movie “Hamnet.” He is currently the most nominated person this year with 24 nominations overall. He has won a total of 3 Oscars – two for Best Director for “Schindler’s List” and “Saving Private Ryan” and for Best Picture for “Schindler’s List.”

Costume designer Ruth E. Carter is the most nominated Black woman in Oscar history. Carter, who has won two Oscars for her work on “Black Panther” and “Black Panther: Wakanda Forever,” is up this year for “Sinners.”
