‘Scrubs’ Is Back: Hit Medical Comedy Returns – What You Need To Know Ahead Of The Premiere

The reboot of “Scrubs” returns on ABC on Wednesday, February 25, 2026 with Zach Braff, Sarah Chalke, and Donald Faison reprising their roles on the hit show. The first two episodes premiere back-to-back Wednesday, February 25 at 8pm ET/PT on ABC. Stream next day on Hulu.

The cast and crew got together at The Academy to celebrate the launch of the show which is from the producers of hit shows “Ted Lasso” and “Shrinking.”

What is Scrubs About

In the reboot, JD and Turk scrub in together for the first time in a long time: Medicine has changed; interns have changed; but their bromance has stood the test of time. Characters new and old navigate the waters of Sacred Heart with laughter, heart and some surprises along the way. The show stars Zach Braff as John “J.D.” Dorian, Donald Faison as Christopher Turk and Sarah Chalke as Elliot Reid. Original cast Judy Reyes and John C. McGinley will guest star as Carla and Dr. Perry Cox, respectively.

Additional guest cast include Vanessa Bayer, Rachel Bilson, Joel Kim Booster, Ava Bunn, Jacob Dudman, Neil Flynn, Lisa Gilroy, David Gridley, Phill Lewis, Robert Maschio, X Mayo, Christa Miller, Layla Mohammadi, Amanda Morrow, Andy Ridings, and Michael James Scott.
