The annual Actor Awards 2026, formerly known as the Screen Actors Guild Awards, were presented as one of the important events of this awards season. Kristen Bell returned to host the show. This is one of the most watched show this season because, whoever wins awards in the movie categories are one step closer to winning the Oscar. Harrison Ford received the Life Achievement Award, presented by Woody Harrelson.
“Sinners” was the night’s big winner with the cast taking home the award for Outstanding Cast in a Motion Picture and Michel B. Jordan as Outstanding Lead Actor for his double role of twins Smoke and Stack. Jessie Buckley took home the Actor or Outstanding Lead Female for Hamnet, while Sean Penn and Amy Madigan took home actors for their Outstanding Supporting Roles in “One Battle After Another” and “Weapons,” respectively.
On the television side, it was a good night for “The Pitt” and “The Studio.” Both shows took home Actors for Outstanding Cast and Outstanding Lead Actor Awards for Noah Wylie, and Seth Rogan respectively.
