“Saturday Night Live” hosted its first live show for the month of April with “Super Mario Bros. Movie” star Jack Black as host with Jack White as musical guest. The show marked Black’s five time hosting, putting him into the popular “Five Timer’s Club.” White also appeared in the skit as a five timer musical guest.

White, who was inducted into the Rock N Roll Hall of Fame with his band White Stripes last year, sang two new songs, “G.O.D. And The Broken Ribs,” and Derecho Demonico.” Late last year, White made a rare national television appearance at a Detroit Lions half time show with Eminem. He’s also set to hit the road for a 18 show tour this year according to his official Facebook page.
