Beyonce took home the Grammy Award for Best Country Album at Grammys 2025 for her album “Cowboy Carter.” The award was presented to her by former Country Album winner Taylor Swift.  “Cowboy Carter,” Beyonce’s first album in the category beat out albums by such high-profile artists as Post Malone, Kacey Musgraves, Chris Stapleton, and Lainey Wilson for Country album.

On stage, accepting the award, a surprised Beyonce thanked her family. “Wow, I really was not expecting this,” she said. “Wow! I want to thank God. Oh my God! That I am able to still do what I love after so many years. I’d like to thank all of the incredible country artists that accepted this album. We worked so hard on it. I think sometimes genre is a code word to keep us in our place as artists and I just want to encourage people to do what they’re passionate about and stay persistent.”

During the Premiere Ceremony before the live telegraph, Beyonce took home a Grammy for Best Country Duo or Group Performance for “II, Most Wanted,” a song she performed with Miley Cyrus. The artist has won more than 34 Grammys to date, with 99 nominations.
