“American Idol” had its last day of auditions before the fan favorite Hollywood starts Monday, March 31 on ABC. The groundbreaking series also launched the careers of Kelly Clarkson, Jennifer Hudson, Katharine McPhee, Jordin Sparks, Adam Lambert, Chris Daughtry, Gabby Barrett, and Scotty McCreery, among many others.
Here are some highlights from the Sunday, March 30 episode of the show with contestants Kaleo Knight, Kyana Fanene, and Canaan James Hill. The judges gave all three contestants tickets to Hollywood. Canaan James Hill was awarded one of three platinum tickets.
