NBC has renewed both ‘Law & Order’ and ‘Law & Order: SVU’
NBC has renewed Dick Wolf’s “Law & Order” and “Law & Order: SVU for the 2025 – 2026 season. The long standing dramas are long-running series. “Law & Order” in Season 24 and is executive produced by Dick Wolf, Rick Eid, Pamela Wechsler, Alex Hall and Peter Jankowski.
“Law & Order,” one of television’s most treasured and honored dramas, is known for its unique format and examines “the police who investigate crime and the district attorneys who prosecute the offenders.”
Hugh Dancy, Tony Goldwyn, Odelya Halevi, Mehcad Brooks, Reid Scott and Maura Tierney star. Dick Wolf is creator and executive producer. Rick Eid, Pamela Wechsler, Alex Hall and Peter Jankowski are executive producers.
In its 26th season, “Law & Order: Special Victims Unit” is executive produced by Dick Wolf, David Graziano, Julie Martin, Mariska Hargitay, Norberto Barba, Kenneth Brown and Peter Jankowski.
The series is the longest-running live-action primetime series in the history of American television. This hard-hitting and emotional series chronicles the lives of the Special Victims Unit of the New York City Police Department, an elite squad of detectives who investigate crimes of sexual assault, child abuse and domestic violence.
