‘The Amazing Race’: Jack and Carson win Season 37
In the Thursday, May 15 episode of “The Amazing Race,” Jack and Carson took home the top prize of $ 1 million dollars on a race that took the best friends all around the world starting in Los Angeles with stops Hong Kong, Japan, Indonesia, United Arab Emirates, Bulgaria, Italy, Germany, France, and Portugal before crossing the finish line in Miami. Jack Dodge and Carson McCalley finished off the season winning four legs before winning it all.
The best friends competed in the last leg against comeback brother and sister team of Han and Holden and married controversial couple Jonathan and Anna. Han and Holden didn’t win any legs during the race and even finished last in the non elimination leg but rallied together to finish second. Taking third was Jonathan and Anna. They were a strong team all season long, even winning a few legs of the race but the couple argued throughout their travels as Jonathan appeared “annoying, rude and downright mean” to Anna according to fans posting on social media.

The “season of surprises” featured the largest cast ever, 14 teams, in the history of the Race. The new teams encountered game-changing twists in every episode, including the classic game pieces the Fast Forward and U-Turn – and the additions of new ones, such as a Fork in the Road, which Racers confronted on the first leg in Hong Kong. When teams arrived at the Fork in the Road, they had to choose which direction and route they wanted to take to the Pit Stop, creating two parallel races where two teams were eliminated.
“Traveling around the globe for a stop in Osaka, Japan, where they took a modern-day bullet train in a thriving city and then performed with a taiko drum group. They skydived over Dubai for the first time on THE AMAZING RACE, in the countryside of Bulgaria, where they participated in a traditional folk dance. They also visited the medieval village of Strasbourg, France, which will feel like stepping into a fairytale.
