CeCe Winans visits NPR Music’s Tiny Desk Concert
Gospel great CeCe Winans is bringing the word of the Lord to NPR’s Tiny Desk with her own concert. The Grammy winner sings some of her most inspirational songs.
Winans is no stranger to live performances. The singer released her “More Than This” live album last April. Winans told TVMusic Network that “the energy of the audience” is what makes the record special.
“I love the album. It’s a live record,” Winans said in the exclusive interview. “The audience to me, makes it…it knocks it out the park. They’re singing and worshiping. We cover great songs. I just think people are going to love it. The album was recorded in Nashville, and we invited worship teams from all over to sing in the audience and it was just heavenly. More than this is out now and I’m excited.”
