The song blends his gospel roots with R&B. The track captures the ache and beauty of remembering where you come from. The single is now available for download across all major streaming platforms. Jamal wrote the song along with Emile Ghantous, Daniel J Capellaro and Christian Stalnecker. The song is produced by Emile Ghantous.

Jamal will be joining Brandy & Monica on their highly anticipated The Boy Is Mine tour this fall, performing at arenas around the country. The tour starts October 16 in Cincinnati, Ohio and wraps up December 14 in Jacksonville, Florida.

In addition to his musical success, Jamal’s American Idol finale performance has hit 40+ million views across platforms, contributing to the show’s ranking as the #1 most social reality series of 2025.
