Chance The Rapper has a new album coming out. The Grammy-winner announced the release date of “Star Line,” dropping on August 15. ‘Star Line’ is available now for CD and digital pre-order at starlinegallery.co, alongside the special ‘Star Line’ Shipping Co. merch collection. Each item, including the CDs, features a built-in NFC chip that unlocks exclusive ‘Star Line’ content. Chance’s album will be the first NFC CD eligible for BILLBOARD with a ‘tap and play’ feature, allowing fans to essentially play the CD through Bluetooth. Additional merch drops and activations will be announced soon.
The album’s lead single, “Tree” featuring Lil Wayne and Smino, is out now. Chance recently appeared on “The Tonight Show Starring Jimmy Fallon” to sing the song. Check out the performance below.
