“America’s Got Talent” was back with the first live show of the season and judge Sofia Vergara chose country music hopeful Steve Ray Ladson as her Golden Buzzer for the night. That mean that of all the acts performing tonight Ladson goes straight through. Ladson moving onto the next round is fitting, the audience loved him and his song is already making waves on the music charts. The singer from Hopkins, South Carolina, has landed the song “Back of My Truck” hit No 2 on iTunes country. In his package video, Ladson says he didn’t come as far as he did to sing someone else’s song.
Of the other contestants, only three of the night’s acts will got through after the vote. On Wednesday, August 20, the top three acts will be revealed. The three acts will move on to the finals.
Def Leppard will also perform on the results show.
