‘Sherri’ Canceled: Sherri Shepherd’s Talk Show Ending After Season Four: What We Know

Sherri Shepherd

“Sherri,” the groundbreaking talk show from actress/comedienne Sherri Shepherd is ending its run after four years. Lionsgate-owned Debmar-Mercury confirmed the cancellation of “Sherri” in a statement. “This decision is driven by the evolving daytime television landscape and does not reflect on the strength of the show, its production – which has found strong creative momentum this season – or the incredibly talented Sherri Shepherd. We believe in this show and in Sherri and intend to explore alternatives for it on other platforms.”

Her final episodes are expected to air in the fall. “Sherri” won an NAACP Image Award for outstanding talk series in 2023, while Shepherd won for outstanding host in 2025.
