It’s a busy awards weekend with the NAACP Image Awards, the Producers Guild Awards and The Actor Awards (Formerly Screen Actors Guild (SAG) Awards in Hollywood on March 1, 2026. Across the pond, the annul Brit Awards, hosted by Jack Whitehall, took place in Manchester England. The Brits recognize excellence in the industry’s most popular music.
Oliva Dean was the night’s big winner, taking home prizes for Artist of the Year and Best New Artist, the latter she also won at this year’s Grammy Awards.
Other notable awards included Noel Gallagher who won Songwriter of the Year, Sam Fender won Alternative/Rock Act, and Wolf Alice winning Group of the Year.
The show also honored many for their long-standing contribution to music, including Mark Ronson, who worked with Dua Lipa, Bruno Mars and the late Amy Winehouse to name a few.
Performances included Alex Warren, Rosalia, Mark Ronson, Dua Lipa, Wolf Alice, Sombr, and an exciting performance of “Golden” from Huntr/X’s EJAE, Audrey Nuna, and REI AMI from KPop Demon Hunters.
In one of the most emotional moments of the night, the show remembered rock legend Ozzy Osbourne with the Lifetime Achievement Award, introduced by Dolly Parton and accepted by Sharon and Kelly Osbourne.
