“American Idol” is gearing up for the first live show of the season on Monday, March 30 at 8 p.m. on ABC, streams next day on Hulu, and will also stream live on Disney+, in addition to ABC in local time zones.

On the Monday show, the Idol hopefuls as they lift their voices in inspiring songs of faith. By the end of the night, only 12 finalists will continue on the journey to become the next singing sensation. (TV-PG, L) Stream episodes next day on Disney+ and Hulu.
The journey will end for a handful of contestants as Top 20 becomes the Top 12.
During the show, the Idol’s superstar judges Luke Bryan, Lionel Richie and Carrie Underwood will take the stage to perform during the first “Songs of Faith” themed live show of the season. Luke Bryan and Lionel Richie will open the show with a performance of “Jesus Is Love” alongside the Top 20, while Carrie Underwood will perform “How Great Thou Art” from her GRAMMY® Award-winning gospel hymns album “My Savior” with last season’s three platinum ticket winners Filo Ebid, Kolbi Jordan and Canaan James Hill.
